My new book, Dr Huxley\u2019s Bequest<\/em><\/a>, is out this Wednesday, 15 November. I just received my author copies of the paperback. It has a very nice cover:<\/p>\n

Which type of book should I buy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The paperback has illustrations, author notes, a bibliography, a comprehensive index and a pretty cover. <\/p>\n

However, the font is fairly small*, so if you prefer large print, I recommend choosing an ebook edition, which you can resize to suit your reading needs. The ebooks are available in two formats. There\u2019s a Kindle (mobi) version for Kindle readers and other devices that have the Kindle app installed. There\u2019s also an epub version, for iPads, iPhones, Nook readers, Kobo readers, and pretty much every other sort of ebook reading device. The ebooks don\u2019t have the illustrations or the index, but do have a search function if you want to find keywords.
\n*EDITED TO ADD: I’m planning on putting out a new, larger-print paperback edition in January, so if you’d like to buy a print copy but prefer large print, maybe hold off on ordering the paperback until January.<\/p>\n

Maybe, if you live in Australia. If it\u2019s not in your library\u2019s catalogue, you can ask your librarian to order it. The book is listed with ALS Library Services<\/a> and it has a National Library of Australia catalogue number<\/a>.<\/p>\n
